Workspaces 1.0

If you haven’t noticed, GotDotNet Workspaces 1.0[^] has been released. After taking a quick scroll through the EULA for posting a new project it looks like they removed the troublesome wording that was there in the previous version. Now it explicitly states that you give MS the rights to publish your work on the site. Of course, IANAL.

Something else I noticed was RSS feeds available for the “News” and “Releases” lists on individual workspaces. And to quote everything else off from the workspaces announcement site:

  • Use your Workspace with Visual Studio.NET
  • Improved installation procedure
  • Workspace activity ranking
  • RSS feeds for news and releases
  • Automatic hyperlink highlighting
