Castlevania: Lament of Innocence revisited

I played it for about two hours today…unfortunately my PS2 is hooked up to the dinky TV in my room so I didn’t get to play it as I would have wanted to; but I am very pleased with this game. Its not quite as good as Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, but it is still very good none-the-less.

I do have a couple of gripes:

  • 3D + platform action = aggrivation
  • Inconsistant controls, sometimes pressing triangle at a slow pace will start the attack combo, other times it will do one attack followed by a long pause

As I said, not many problems with the game so far, after beating two of the 5 bosses in the first area (35% of the map revealed).
