Article update coming

After browsing a few articles on CodeProject I figured out how to deal with one of the issues I had left with the MenuExtenderComponent. The new version will correctly deal with ContextMenus attached to NotifyIcon objects. The fix isn’t difficult, it just adds another property to the NotifyIcon object and handles the MouseUp event to open the menu.

I have also updated the bitmaps included with the demo to better match the recommendations from Microsoft with regards to images. The code to create a “hot” image has been updated to reflect this as well.

I also added another design time improvement, thanks to an article that is similar to mine: MenuItem Extender – add images and font support to your menu. Now the ImageIndex extended property has a drop-down like you’d find on normal controls that support ImageList use.
