Visual Studio 2005 Beta 1 available on MSDN

VS 2005 Beta 1 is now available on MSDN for subscribers to download.

It is split into CD size ISO images, VS taking up 2 cds, MSDN library taking 3. Also available are separate downloads for the remote debugger, Visio tools (I assume this is just an updated version of Visio), and Amberpoint Express (“AmberPoint Express™ is a complimentary developer’s tool for monitoring, testing, debugging, diagnosing and fine-tuning Web services”).

I can only assume a split was made between the CTPs and this beta in how it was packaged because this one will be sent out to subscribers so they had to make the CD images anyway.

Just don’t start your downloads for a couple hours so mine will be done 😀

Suddenly, the 3 hours of sleep I got last night before Shadow woke me up seems like enough now.
