WordPress 1.5 Theme Contest results

The winners of the 2005 WordPress theme contest have been announced, and I definately like many of the entries.

Eventually I’ll add many of them to the site, but I’m worried about each page access causing several directory listings, loading of .css files and lots of regex parsing to pull out the theme details.

The latest WP nightly is supposed to have added a feature to mark themes as public, draft, or private and the theme switcher is supposed to honor that. Whether that means database hits or directory listings is unknown to me though.
