Out in force

On the drive home from work today I passed 10 police vehicles, all in a trip that isn’t even 8 miles long (i think anyway).

The first was parked at the start of the construction area on 161 east. Next were 3 cruisers and an SUV parked in the construction area where the 270 exits merge onto 161. A bit further down there were two people standing on top of the of the last two overpasses in the 161 construction (again eastbound) I assume they were cops because they didn’t move and were partially hidden by the route signs…Finally there was a cop on a motorcycle on the exit ramp to new albany road, and another cruiser on the 161 W on-ramp from new albany road.

WTF is going on?!?

Edit: I can count…really šŸ™‚ The 10th one was making a turn as I was passing by the one waiting at the top of the 161 W on-ramp

Edit #2: And this explains it: Bush was in my area of town today

  1. Ah just Bush! I thought the cops were out on a speeding ticket spree.

  2. They usually are during the day…several people at work have gotten tickets for speeding through the construction area šŸ™‚ They try to hide a bit better than this though.
